We're looking for Materials Science specialists — Masters and PhD holders — to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models on advanced scientific concepts in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, and beyond.
This is a fully remote, versatile contract role built for domain experts who want meaningful, intellectually engaging work on their own schedule. No prior AI experience needed — just rigorous scientific knowledge and a sharp, analytical mind.
• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced materials science problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related disciplines to design complex, high-quality problem sets
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth,
and rigor — and push it to be better
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance AI reasoning capabilities
• Ensure scientific clarity, precision, and depth across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments, fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
• Master's or PhD in Materials Science or a closely related field
• Strong expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent research areas
• Comfortable coding in Python or MATLAB for research or data-driven work
• Exceptionally detail-oriented — you hold your work to a high scientific standard
• Clear and accurate written communicator who can explain complex concepts effectively
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
