Role Description The Assistant Professor of Physics will teach undergraduate and, where applicable, postgraduate physics courses, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions. The role also involves engaging in scholarly research, contributing to departmental activities, participating in academic governance, and supporting student outreach initiatives. Qualifications

• Solid foundation in core Physics and Theoretical Physics, with the ability to teach and guide students in these areas.
• Competence in Physics Education and Mathematics to design effective curricula, laboratory work, and assessments.
• Knowledge of Astronomy or related fields that can enrich course offerings and student projects.
• Advanced degree in Physics or a closely related discipline (minimum of a master’s degree; Ph.D. preferred).
