Role Overview
We are looking for a Vendor Manager from the interior design industry who can manage and strengthen our vendor ecosystem. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality and cost efficiency across projects.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing & Onboarding
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for materials, furniture, décor, and execution services
Build a reliable and scalable vendor network
Vendor Management & Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for all vendors
Coordinate with design, sales, and site teams for requirements
Ensure vendors align with project timelines and specifications
Costing & Negotiation
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
Optimize procurement costs without compromising quality
Quality & Delivery Control
Monitor vendor performance on quality, timelines, and reliability
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to sites
Resolve vendor-related issues proactively
Inventory & Procurement Planning
Plan material requirements based on project timelines
Maintain records of vendor contracts, pricing, and performance
Requirements
4–7 years of experience in vendor management/procurement in interior design or construction industry
Strong network of vendors (carpenters, contractors, material suppliers, etc.)
Excellent negotiation and coordination skills
Good understanding of materials, finishes, and site execution
Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously
