Role Description The Healthcare Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in East Godavari. This role is responsible for providing first-line medical support to students and staff, including assessing health concerns, administering basic treatments, and coordinating emergency care as needed. The Healthcare Specialist will maintain accurate health records, monitor ongoing health issues, and ensure compliance with school health and safety policies. Daily tasks include conducting routine health checks, delivering health education and training sessions, collaborating with school leadership and families on health-related matters, and promoting preventive care and wellbeing initiatives within the school community.
Qualifications
• Clinical and emergency care skills, including EMT or equivalent training and foundational knowledge in medicine.
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with students, families, and staff,
and for explaining health information clearly and sensitively.
• Experience in healthcare-related training, such as delivering first aid, safety, or wellness programs in educational or community settings.
• General healthcare competencies, including health assessment, basic diagnostics, and coordination of care with external medical providers.
• Relevant certification or diploma in nursing, EMT, paramedical sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent health, school health protocols, and infection prevention practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, accurate documentation, and compliance with applicable health regulations and school policies.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
