About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Tamil Speaking with experience in the EdTech industry to join our sales team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 year of experience in EdTech sales, preferably in a B2C/Inside Sales role, with hands-on experience in lead handling, counselling, follow-ups, and conversions.
The candidate must be a native Tamil speaker or have native-level fluency in Tamil and should be confident in communicating with Tamil-speaking learners.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle inbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Understand learners' requirements and recommend suitable courses or programs.
• Explain course features, benefits, learning structure, and career relevance.
• Follow up with prospects and convert leads into enrolments.
• Handle customer queries and sales objections effectively.
• Maintain lead and follow-up details in the CRM.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to team goals.
• Ensure a smooth enrolment experience by coordinating with the relevant internal teams.
Requirements
• 2+ year of experience in EdTech sales.
• Experience in B2C/Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, or EdTech course sales.
• Native / native-level fluency in Tamil is required.
• Good working proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Target-oriented with a solid focus on conversions.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
