Job SummaryWe are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive with experience in procurement, vendor management and commercial negotiation, preferably from the Quick Commerce, E-commerce, FMCG or Retail industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing products, developing current vendors, negotiating rates and terms, and managing the complete PO creation and procurement cycle.
Key Responsibilities• Handle end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per business requirements.
• Identify and develop new vendors/suppliers for required products and categories.
• Source products from manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and relevant suppliers.
• Negotiate purchase rates, credit terms, MOQ, delivery timelines and other commercial terms.
• Compare vendor quotations and conduct price benchmarking.
• Maintain and negotiate competitive product cost and margins.




• Coordinate with vendors for availability, order confirmation and timely delivery.
• Follow up on pending POs and ensure timely supply.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, sales and finance teams for procurement requirements.
• Verify product specifications, quantity, rates, GST and other PO details before release.
• Maintain vendor database, price lists and purchase records.
• Monitor vendor performance related to price, quality, fill rate and delivery timelines.
• Handle vendor issues related to shortages, rate differences, returns and replacements.
• Develop alternate vendors to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity.
• Support procurement planning based on stock requirements and business demand.
• Prepare purchase-related MIS and reports for management.
