Role Description The Vice Chancellor is the chief executive and academic head of EdTech Skills University – Assam, responsible for providing strategic leadership, academic direction, and institutional governance. This full-time, on-site role based in Tinsukia involves overseeing academic programs, research initiatives, and skill-focused curricula to ensure alignment with industry needs and regulatory standards. The Vice Chancellor will manage faculty and staff development, promote a culture of quality,



and ensure effective implementation of policies, processes, and performance metrics. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising administrative operations, monitoring financial and resource management, fostering national and international partnerships, and representing the university to government bodies, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. The role also requires leading initiatives in innovation, digital transformation, and student success, while upholding high standards of ethics, equity, and inclusivity.

• Demonstrated academic leadership experience, including prior service as Dean, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Director, or equivalent senior role in a university or higher education institution.
