About the role

We are hiring a Geotechnical Engineer to join us as a full-time educator. You will teach live online PLAXIS and geotechnical engineering courses to practising engineers, researchers and students worldwide, and work on geotechnical research and consulting projects alongside your teaching.

This is a full time, fully remote position with flexible working hours.

What you will do

Training -

• Deliver live online training in PLAXIS 2D and PLAXIS 3D to engineers and researchers from India and abroad
• Teach core topics: soil constitutive models, staged construction, deep excavations, retaining walls, foundations, slope stability, consolidation, groundwater flow and tunnelling Conduct webinars, workshops and advanced masterclasses
• Deliver corporate training for engineering teams




• Answer learners' technical questions and guide them through their own modelling problems

Content -

• Develop and update course modules, worked examples, case studies and assignments
• Build PLAXIS models based on real project scenarios for use in training
• Keep course material aligned with current software versions, design codes and research

Research and projects -

• Work on geotechnical research and consulting projects: numerical modelling, parametric studies, interpretation and reporting
• Validate numerical results against hand calculations, design codes and published literature
• Support learners and clients with research-oriented modelling work

What we are looking for

• M.Tech / M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering (required)
• PhD in any geotechnical engineering topic (preferred)
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in geotechnical design, analysis or research
• Hands-on experience with PLAXIS 2D; PLAXIS 3
