About the role
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for driving sales and partnerships with schools and institutions. This is a client-facing role requiring strong sales acumen, prior experience in education or college counselling, and the ability to deliver presentations and secure agreements. The associate will focus exclusively on sales activities, ensuring consistent outreach, conversions, and relationship building.

What you'll do
To assist the Application Support team in day-to-day operations, you shall be expected to:
• School Outreach: Conduct daily outreach in person and voice calls, and emails to schools to generate leads and build relationships.
• Daily Lead Management: Maintain and update system records with new leads, ensuring timely categorization and follow-up scheduling.
• Client Follow-ups: Conduct regular follow-ups via calls and WhatsApp to strengthen client engagement and retention.
• Fee Follow-ups:



Initiate WhatsApp reminders every 15 days to ensure timely fee collection.
• Presentations: Meet schools in person and deliver impactful presentations on Essai’s programs.
• Webinar Securing: Secure and host webinars with schools and partners to expand engagement.
• Partnership Development: Drive current partnership initiatives and execute MOUs with institutions.
• EARN Program Sales: Own the sales strategy for EARN, ensuring sign-ups and conversions.
• Monthly EARN calls with clients.
• WhatsApp follow-ups every 4 weeks.
• Email follow-ups every 90 days.
• Program Sign-ups: Actively drive sign-ups for EARN and PReP programs through consistent outreach and relationship building.
• Sales Calls: Shadow and participate in client sales calls, including after-hours sessions with senior leadership.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sign-ups, MOUs, and agreements.
