Perform ARM core and/or DSP validation across different processor/DSP configurations.
Develop and execute validation test plans for processor and DSP features.
Work with DSP toolchains, including compilation, assembly, linking, debugging, and execution flows.
Hands-on experience with Xtensa toolchain and compilation/debugging environment.
Validate custom DSP instructions, including TIE (Tensilica Instruction Extension) instructions.
Validate and debug VFPU/vector and floating-point instructions and associated execution behavior.
Develop instruction-level, functional, integration, and regression test cases.
Analyze test failures, debug issues at C, assembly, and instruction level, and identify root causes.
Develop validation automation using Python and scripting frameworks.
Work with Embedded C for developing test applications, test cases, and low-level validation code.

5-10 years of experience
Strong experience in ARM and/or DSP validation.
Hands-on Experience With Xtensa DSP Architecture/toolchain Is Preferred.
Knowledge of TIE instructions and custom instruction validation.
Knowledge of VFPU/vector instruction validation.
Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.
Valuable Python scripting and test automation skills.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
Good understanding of processor architecture, registers, memory, interrupts, and instruction execution.
Experience with debugging using logs, traces, debuggers, and test outputs.
Experience with regression testing and validation automation frameworks.
Test-plan development and test-case design.
Functional, feature, instruction-level, and regression validation.
Test automation and execution.
Failure analysis and root-cause debugging.
