Role Description The Social Media Manager role at Wedding Darzi is a full time, on-site position based in South Delhi. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and publish content across social platforms to showcase weddings, events, and behind-the-scenes work, aligning with the brand’s aesthetic and voice. This role includes managing social media calendars, engaging with the online community, responding to messages and comments, and monitoring trends to develop campaigns that drive visibility and inquiries. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with the planning and creative teams to capture event highlights, coordinate photo and video assets, and optimize posts for reach and engagement. Daily responsibilities also include tracking performance metrics, preparing basic reports, and recommending improvements to social media strategy.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), including managing brand presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant channels.




• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact with clients, collaborators, and online audiences, and to represent the brand in a professional and personable manner.
• Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to plan social media calendars, campaigns, and narratives that align with business objectives and brand positioning.
• Candidates should possess Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and brand-appropriate captions, posts, and short-form content.
• Relevant experience in event, wedding, or lifestyle brands is highly beneficial, along with basic knowledge of photography or visual storytelling.
• Ability to work on-site in South Delhi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and comfort using design applications (such as Canva or similar tools) is a strong advantage.
