Job Title: Senior Executive - Cutting CAM & CAD
Location Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 5-7 years in Garment Cutting & CAM
Qualification Any Degree / Diploma in Garment Technology, Textile Technology or related field
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end CAM, CAD marker planning and fabric consumption activities.
• Prepare and review CAD markers, marker efficiency and consumption reports.
• Monitor fabric width, GSM, shrinkage and other parameters affecting consumption.
• Analyse CAD vs. actual cutting consumption and identify major variations.
• Coordinate with CAD, Cutting, Merchandising, Production and Fabric teams for consumption-related issues.
• Ensure optimum marker efficiency and minimum fabric wastage.
• Review lay plans, lay slips, cutting data and end-bit/wastage reports.
• Handle buyer-specific cutting and consumption requirements.
• Analyse style-wise, colour-wise and order-wise consumption and provide corrective actions.
• Guide the cutting team on technical issues related to fabric width, dia, GSM, shrinkage and marker planning.
• Prepare MIS reports and present key consumption/efficiency performance to management.
• Support factories/units in improving cutting efficiency, productivity and fabric utilization.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Garment Cutting & CAM operations.
• Hands-on experience in Optitex / CAD / Marker Making / Grading.
• Good understanding of fabric consumption and marker efficiency.
• Knowledge of GSM, shrinkage, fabric width/dia and cutting parameters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in handling multiple factories/units will be an advantage.
Preferred Profile
Experience with reputed export garment manufacturers / buying offices will be an advantage.
