Role Description The Cluster Head – LAP, Micro role at Freecharge is a full-time, in office position based in Salem. This role is responsible for driving and managing the Loan Against Property (LAP) and micro-lending business within the assigned cluster, ensuring growth, profitability, and portfolio quality. Day-to-day activities include overseeing branch operations, guiding sales teams, monitoring performance metrics,



and implementing strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention. The Cluster Head collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, optimizes processes, and enhances customer experience. The role also involves developing local market insights, managing key stakeholder relationships, and supporting timely reporting and decision-making.
Qualifications
• Experience in retail lending, particularly Loan Against Property (LAP) and microfinance or micro-lending, with a strong understanding of credit, risk assessment, and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate sales and operations teams, manage multiple branches or locations, and achieve business targets within defined timelines.
