Job Description – Welding Engineer – Technical Services

Job Summary

We are looking for Welding Engineers to join our Technical Services team at Indore and Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, conducting welding trials and product demonstrations, resolving welding-related issues, supporting customer/vendor approvals, and providing effective welding solutions.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge and practical exposure to WPS, PQR, WPQ, welding inspection, welding metallurgy, AWS, ASME, ISO standards, welding consumables, and welding applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and welding solutions to customers and internal teams.
• Conduct welding trials, product demonstrations, and application trials at customer/project sites.
• Prepare, review, and maintain WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation.
• Support vendor qualification, customer approvals, and technical evaluations.




• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects and application-related issues.
• Recommend suitable welding consumables, processes, and parameters based on customer requirements.
• Conduct welding inspections, trials, testing, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable AWS, ASME, and ISO standards.
• Conduct technical/product training for customers, welders, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct customer and site visits for technical discussions, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and trials.
• Handle customer technical queries and support resolution of welding-related complaints.
• Prepare trial reports, visit reports, technical reports, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, R&D;, Quality, Production, and customers to develop effective welding solutions.
