Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hiring Carrier Counselor role based in Ahmedabad, working primarily on the night shift. The Hiring Carrier Counselor will support healthcare revenue cycle operations by coordinating with insurance carriers, verifying coverage details,
and helping resolve reimbursement and claim-related queries. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing patient and carrier information, documenting interactions in designated systems, following established processes to address denials or issues, and escalating complex cases to senior team members as needed. The role involves frequent communication via phone and email with carriers and internal teams, adherence to quality and productivity targets, and compliance with company policies and healthcare privacy regulations. The counselor is expected to maintain accurate records, contribute to process improvement, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely resolution of carrier-related matters.
