Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Maintenance Incharge at a biscuit plant located in Ahmedabad. The Maintenance Incharge is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and smooth functioning of all production machinery and utilities within the plant. Typical tasks include planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, diagnosing equipment issues, coordinating and supervising maintenance technicians, and minimizing downtime during production shifts.



The role also involves maintaining maintenance logs, ensuring compliance with safety and food-industry standards, managing spare parts inventory, and supporting process improvements to enhance equipment performance and energy efficiency. Collaboration with production, quality, and safety teams is expected to address equipment-related concerns and support continuous operational reliability.
Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance of food-processing or FMCG manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and repair of production lines.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, maintenance planning, and basic understanding of automation/PLC-controlled machinery.
• Familiarity with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards in a food manufacturing environment, with the ability to enforce safe work practices.
