Job Title: Risk Insurance Paraplanner / Case Manager

Experience: 2yrs and above

Salary: 45K to 65K monthly (5.4Lpa to 7.8Lpa)

Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Risk Insurance Paraplanner / Case Manager to support an Australian life insurance advisory business. This is a specialist risk insurance role focused on Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection rather than holistic financial planning.

This person will take ownership of the case from quote stage through application, underwriting and policy completion, keeping the adviser involved only where adviser input is genuinely required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compare quotes across Australian life insurers for Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection.
• Understand and compare cover structures, including superannuation and non-super ownership arrangements.
• Prepare insurance comparisons and supporting documentation for client discussions.




• Complete and submit insurance applications accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain outstanding information, documents, signatures and authorities.
• Liaise with insurers, underwriters, medical providers and other third parties throughout the application process.
• Coordinate medical requirements such as blood tests, GP reports and other underwriting evidence.
• Proactively follow up underwriting progress and ensure every application continues moving.
• Communicate insurer requirements to clients clearly and in plain English.
• Track each case from application through underwriting, acceptance, policy commencement and completion.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, file notes, task lists and follow-up dates.
• Identify delays or issues early and work proactively to resolve them.
• Support ongoing policy servicing and annual review administration when required.
