Role Description
This is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai for a Marine Technician. The role involves conducting maintenance and repairs of marine equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing issues, assisting in the installation of fixed firefighting systems,
and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. The candidate will also collaborate with teams on projects such as turnkey projects in marine repairs and maintenance of firefighting systems.
Qualifications
• Experience in maintenance and repair of marine equipment
• Knowledge of marine equipment and experience in handling their repairs
• Proficiency in electrical wiring and associated troubleshooting
• Background in the Navy or relevant marine technical expertise is an asset
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to marine firefighting systems
• Ability to work on-site (workshop in Panvel) and, if required, offshore, Mumbai or Pan-India
• Possession of valid ONGC offshore work passes is advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine equipment maintenance and repair
