Role Description The Surveying and Geomatics Lecturer is a full-time remote role responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in surveying, geomatics, and related disciplines. Day-to-day activities include preparing and delivering online lectures, developing course materials and assessments, and guiding students through practical and theoretical aspects of surveying and geomatics. The lecturer will supervise student projects, provide academic advising,



and offer regular feedback to support student success. Additional responsibilities include staying current with developments in surveying technologies and geomatics research, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental meetings and academic initiatives.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, geomatics, GIS, remote sensing, and mapping techniques, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as CAD, GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), surveying instruments, and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in higher education or professional settings, preferably in surveying or geomatics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create transparent instructional materials and engage learners in an online env
