Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate books of accounts, and ensure timely GST and TDS compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tally Prime (Edit Log), reconciliations, vendor accounting, and general ledger management.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting
· Record purchase, sales, expense, payment, receipt, and journal entries in Tally Prime (Edit Log).
· Maintain ledgers, verify vendor invoices, process payments, and keep supporting documentation organised.
· Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
GST & TDS Compliance
· Prepare GST workings; reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers and resolve ITC mismatches.
· Assist with GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing.
· Calculate TDS deductions, prepare workings, and coordinate timely deposits and return filings.
· Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS, AIS, and relevant ledgers; coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
Banking & Reconciliations
· Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
· Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers, advances, outstanding balances, and other accounts.
· Track accounts payable and receivable, including payment follow-ups.
Month-End Closing & MIS
· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures, including accruals, provisions, and prepaid expenses.
· Prepare MIS reports, expense summaries, audit schedules, and reconciliation statements.
· Provide records and supporting schedules for internal and statutory audits.
Required Skills
· Mandatory practical experience in Tally Prime (Edit Log).
· Solid knowledge of day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
· Proficiency in Excel: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, IF, and related formulas.
