HIRING | LEAD QA ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to own QA strategy, automation, quality standards and team outcomes across projects. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, leadership-oriented and experienced in building scalable, automation-first and AI-enabled QA practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own QA strategy, processes, KPIs, release quality and overall testing outcomes.
• Lead, mentor and develop QA Engineers; review test design, automation and quality practices.
• Design and scale automation frameworks using Playwright, Appium, WebdriverIO, JavaScript/Node.js and BDD.
• Drive QA POCs and evaluate modern testing tools, frameworks and AI-driven solutions.
• Apply AI for test case generation, defect analysis, flaky test detection and coverage analysis.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, quality gates and reporting.
• Drive performance, load and security testing.




• Identify and eliminate flaky tests while maintaining reliable automation suites.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations and clients to drive quality outcomes.
• Define QA standards, conduct retrospectives and continuously improve testing processes.
• Provide technical direction and handle complex quality challenges independently.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of QA experience with proven leadership/team ownership.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Playwright and Appium + WebdriverIO.
• Solid JavaScript/Node.js and BDD knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on performance/load/security testing experience.
• Strong stakeholder and client communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and growing QA teams.
• Experience owning QA strategy/processes at project or account level.
Preferred: AI-driven QA tools, MCPs, OWASP ZAP/Burp, k6/JMeter, database testing and client-facing consulting experience.
