A Driller has an integral role to ensure that the drill rigs, machinery, equipment and other resources are effectively operated to optimize the profitability of the company''s operations.Job Purpose:Drills structural frameworks and housings from materials using vertical drilling and radial drilling equipment and following blueprint specifications: Examines blueprints and materials list to obtain parts specifications.Periodically compares dimensions of assembly to blueprint specifications, using square, rule, and calipers.Works to close tolerances.
