The role requires the performance of data manipulation, data cleaning, analytics on the data asset, and interaction with the business to provide domain expertise to create insights. The ability to serve up complex findings in an understandable way is critical to this role. This individual is considered a subject-matter expert in the data associated with operational clinical trial management as well as available data sources contained within the WCG including the Knowledge Base.

• Responsible for helping the organization discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data (open source, licensed and proprietary) and make smarter decisions to deliver excellent services and products.
• Apply data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis,



and building high quality prediction systems integrated with existing and future services/products.
• Selecting features, building, and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Independently process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a transparent manner.
• Supports team members developing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting of operational data in support of strategy and planning.
• Conducts data mining of open sourced, licensed, and proprietary data sources and initiates/oversees collection of data for use in development of robust strategies for clinical trials.
• Provide day-to-day support of the business as required to efficiently and effectively model and forecast from feasibility data and other relevant information to allow for the development of evidence-base
