We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in accounting and taxation and be comfortable independently handling day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance work for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and review books of accounts for clients across different industries.

Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GST returns, reconciliations and related workings.

Handle TDS compliance, including computation, returns, payments and reconciliation.

Assist in preparation and filing of income-tax returns for individuals, firms and companies.

Assist with tax audits and statutory audits, including preparation of schedules, workings and supporting documentation.

Perform bank, ledger and balance-sheet reconciliations and identify discrepancies.

Prepare financial statements,



trial balances and other accounting reports.

Coordinate with clients for accounting data, documents and clarification of queries.

Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting, taxation and compliance work.

Review work prepared by junior accounting staff and provide necessary guidance.

Candidate Profile
3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation or a CA firm.

Semi-qualified CA (CA Inter) or a graduate/postgraduate with a strong accounting background is preferred.

Candidates with B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualifications and relevant practical experience are welcome.

Positive practical knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, income tax and audit procedures.

Experience working with accounting software such as Tally is preferred.

Good knowledge of MS Excel.

Ability to independently manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.
