Why we need you: You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and supporting efficient operations within the department.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Assist with resolving complaints and discrepancies between vessels and suppliers, escalating issues when required.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, vessels, and clients.
• Support the supply and delivery process and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Assist with invoice verification and account reconciliations.
• Help monitor catering accounts and support the monthly inventory closing process.
• Prepare and maintain reports, templates,
and departmental records.
• Organise and maintain purchase orders, inquiries, and other departmental documentation.
• Ensure all administrative activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks as required.
You need these qualifications and attributes:
• College or university graduate.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.
• Passion for the maritime industry.
It would be nice if:
• You have experience in a similar position within the maritime industry.
• You have experience or education in Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or Maritime Studies.
