Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Receive real-time orders on a Handheld Terminal (HHT) device/smartphone. Locate items across designated aisles, racks, and cold storage units, scanning barcodes to confirm correct items and quantities.
Quality & Freshness Check: Inspect produce, dairy, frozen items, and packaged goods for physical damage, leakages, or expired dates prior to packing.
Order Packing: Safely pack items into tamper-evident delivery bags. Ensure proper segregation (e.g., separating household chemicals/cleaners from fresh food and dairy).
Handover & Dispatch: Seal bags, attach order routing labels, and place completed orders in designated rider dispatch bays for immediate pickup.
Inventory Management: Assist with restocking shelves, bin audits, and reporting missing or damaged items (SKUs) in the system.
