Atlassian Platform Architect

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Platform Architect to design, implement, and continuously improve our organisation’s Atlassian platform ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and related applications and integrations.

This is a hands-on architecture and implementation role. The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, PMO, IT, Support, and Leadership teams to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, integrated Atlassian solutions.

The role will focus on building an integrated platform that supports engineering delivery, requirements management, end-to-end traceability, portfolio and program governance, planning and capacity management, service management, automation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and translate business and technical requirements into scalable Atlassian solution architectures.
• Design and implement solutions across Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Product Discovery,



Jira Plans, and relevant Marketplace applications.
• Configure projects, issue hierarchies, workflows, approvals, permissions, automation, boards, dashboards, and quality controls.
• Establish end-to-end traceability across requirements, engineering work, source code, testing, defects, releases, and governance approvals.
• Design Confluence information architecture, templates, approval workflows, and Jira integrations.
• Design and implement JSM portals, request types, workflows, queues, SLAs, approvals, Assets, and knowledge management.
• Integrate Atlassian products with GitHub, CI/CD tools, Microsoft Teams, identity platforms, reporting tools, and other enterprise systems.
• Configure Jira Plans and portfolio structures to support dependencies, milestones, releases, capacity planning, and scenario planning.
