ITI Fitter Industrial Production & Mechanical Fitting Job Description Who you are/: Read, interpret, and work with 2D mechanical engineering drawings, process routes, and assembly drawings. Mark, cut, file, drill, ream, tap, grind, and install metal parts using hand tools and power equipment.
Assemble, align, and adjust mechanical machinery, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, valves, and pneumatic/hydraulic lines. Perform routine preventive maintenance, overhauling, component replacement, and emergency troubleshooting on production machinery.
Measure and check parts, assemblies, and geometric alignment using precision measuring instruments /(calipers, micrometers, vernier calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators/). Performs basic tabletop welding, brazing, soldering,



and pipe installation as required when installing or repairing equipment.
Strictly adheres to workplace safety guidelines, personal protective equipment /(PPE/) standards, and 5S workplace organization principles.
