We are looking for a Senior Java Developer/Lead with 5 to 15 years of experience in Electronic Trading and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java backend development, low-latency distributed systems, and trading connectivity. Candidates should have hands-on experience working with FIX Protocol, electronic trading platforms, real-time market connectivity, and high-performance backend systems supporting front-office trading operations.

The role involves designing and developing scalable trading platforms, integrating global trading venues, and contributing to the modernization of electronic trading infrastructure across global markets.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java backend applications for electronic trading platforms.
- Build scalable, low-latency services supporting pricing, order execution, trade processing, and market connectivity.
- Design and implement connectivity solutions using FIX Protocol and proprietary/vendor APIs.
- Integrate trading platforms with exchanges, ECNs, brokers, and global trading venues.
- Support Dealer-to-Client (D2C) and Dealer-to-Dealer (D2D) connectivity initiatives.
- Participate in modernization and migration of legacy trading platforms to strategic architectures.
- Optimize applications for latency,



throughput, scalability, and operational resilience.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide support for mission-critical trading applications.
- Collaborate with front-office stakeholders, architects, and global engineering teams to deliver high -quality solutions.
- Contribute to system stability, observability, and continuous platform improvements

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SET

- 515 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrency, Collections, and JVM Performance Tuning.
- Proven experience developing low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Electronic Trading or Capital Markets platforms.
- Strong understanding of Order Lifecycle Management, Trade Execution, and Trade Processing workflows.
- Experience working with FIX Protocol and trading connectivity architectures.
- Experience integrating with Exchanges, ECNs, Brokers, or Trading Venues.
- Knowledge of gateway architectures and FIX session management.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design.
- Experience with Linux, Git, Maven/Gradle, and enterprise development practices.
