Job Description Electrical Design Engineer

Overview
Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical and control systems for compressor products. The role focuses on current product development, sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, quality improvement, cost reduction, and compliance while collaborating with global teams and suppliers

.

Key Responsibilities

- Design electrical systems, control panels, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Support new product introduction, prototype validation, and product launch.
- Select electrical/electronic components (PLC, VFD, sensors, motors, PCBs, cables, etc.).
- Develop and improve AC/DC power distribution and low-voltage control systems.




- Support engineering changes, customer-specific designs, and product enhancements.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues using 5 Why, 8D, and Fishbone methodologies.
- Conduct testing, validation, and prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support IoT integration and digitalization of compressor products.
