Sub Zonal Manager (SZM) Logistics Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sub Zonal Manager (SZM) to manage and drive logistics operations across multiple hubs within an assigned sub-zone. The role will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, achieving business targets, managing teams and stakeholders, and improving overall network performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple hubs within the assigned sub-zone.
- Drive key operational metrics such as shipment volume, productivity, TAT, SLA adherence, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor hub performance and identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure smooth first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile operations as applicable.
- Lead and manage Hub Managers, Area/Operations Managers, and other field teams.
- Set clear targets for teams and ensure timely achievement of operational KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and take corrective actions for underperforming hubs.




- Ensure adequate manpower planning and optimize workforce utilization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Sales, Central Operations, and Control Tower.
- Manage escalations related to operations, customers, manpower, shipments, and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational processes, safety guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Drive initiatives for cost optimization, productivity improvement, process standardization, and network efficiency.
- Analyze operational data and prepare regular performance reports for leadership.
- Support new hub launches, network expansion, and operational transitions within the assigned sub-zone.
- Ensure timely resolution of operational issues and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and mentor the team to build a robust operational leadership pipeline.
