Role & responsibilities :

1. Creating a safe and caring workplace

- Ensure children feel secure, welcomed, and valued.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly classroom.
- Supervise children and respond appropriately to their needs.

- Planning learning activities

- Prepare age-appropriate activities for language, numbers, art, music, movement, and general awareness.
- Use play, stories, games, songs, and hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable.

- Supporting overall development

- Encourage children's cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development.
- Help children develop independence, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

- Teaching basic concepts and skills

- Introduce letters, sounds, numbers, shapes,



colours, patterns, and everyday concepts.
- Develop children's communication, listening, and early literacy skills.

- Encouraging positive behaviour

- Teach sharing, cooperation, kindness, respect, and taking turns.
- Guide children in managing emotions and resolving simple conflicts.

- Observing and assessing children

- Observe children's interests, abilities, behaviour, and developmental progress.
- Maintain appropriate records and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
