Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PLC / HMI Automation Engineer responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial automation systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, control panels, industrial communication protocols, and machine commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial machines and automation systems.

* Design and develop HMI screens, alarms, recipes, trends, and operator interfaces.

* Work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, or equivalent.

* Configure and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA systems.

* Perform machine commissioning, testing, debugging, and site installation.

* Develop and troubleshoot communication between PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, sensors, robots, and other automation equipment.

* Work with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, RS-485, etc.

* Understand electrical control circuits, I/O systems, sensors, actuators, VFDs, servo drives, and control panels.

* Prepare I/O lists, control logic, electrical/automation documentation, and commissioning reports.

* Diagnose machine faults and provide corrective solutions.

* Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, production, and maintenance teams during machine development and commissioning.

* Provide technical support to customers and maintenance teams.

* Ensure automation systems meet safety, quality, and performance requirements.

Required Skills





* Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.

* Hands-on experience with HMI development and configuration.

* Good understanding of industrial automation and machine-control systems.

* Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, sensors, actuators, and industrial control panels.

* Understanding of electrical drawings and control schematics.

* Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.

* Ability to independently troubleshoot PLC/HMI and machine-related issues.

* Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning when required.

Preferred Technical Skills

* Siemens TIA Portal / WinCC

* Mitsubishi / Omron / Delta PLCs

* SCADA systems

* VFD and servo commissioning

* Industrial Ethernet and fieldbus networks

* Basic robotics integration

* AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
