Role & responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of nursing staff.
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care across assigned areas.
- Allocate duties and prepare/monitor staff deployment as per patient and department requirements.
- Monitor nursing procedures, medication administration, documentation, and patient safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection prevention practices, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing care standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing leadership, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Address patient and staff concerns and escalate critical issues to the appropriate authority.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance of nursing staff.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage nursing teams and work effectively in a quick-paced hospital environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
