A CCTV Project Manager oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of electronic security and surveillance installations. They bridge the gap between clients, technical engineering teams, and corporate management. Their primary mission is to ensure that surveillance projectsranging from commercial buildings to large-scale industrial complexes—are delivered on time, within scope, and under budget while meeting high-quality and safety standards.
Role & responsibilities
- Manage complete lifecycle of CCTV projects: requirement gathering, design, installation, testing, and handover.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets,
ensuring cost-effective solutions. Provide training and guidance to technicians and support staff.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Oversee maintenance contracts and ensure system uptime through proactive monitoring.
Preferred candidate profile |
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
- 4-6 years of experience in CCTV project management or security systems.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, networking, and surveillance technologies.
- Excellent project planning, execution, and leadership skills.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
