Cashier – Job DescriptionLocation: Chennai
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month
Experience: 1+ year preferred
Department: Finance & Accounting
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, billing, and daily transactions accurately.
- Operate POS systems, computers, UPI, and card payment machines.
- Manage cash reconciliation and maintain transaction records.
- Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries.
- Ensure accurate and effective cash handling.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience as a Cashier/Billing Executive in a retail store or supermarket preferred.
- Good knowledge of POS systems and digital payment methods.
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
- Freshers with good numerical and communication skills may also apply.
