Position Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the on-site installation of Modular Operation Theatre systems at the customer's hospital/facility. The role ensures installation is carried out strictly per the approved installation drawings, on schedule, safely, and to the company's quality standard acting as the company's on-ground representative throughout the installation phase, from site readiness through to customer handover.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Installation Preparation

• Review installation drawings and the panel-numbering/sequence plan from the Designer before mobilizing to site.

• Verify site readiness civil work completion, power/water availability, site access before installation begins.

• Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager for timely, correctly sequenced delivery of material to site matching the installation plan.

On-Site Installation Execution

• Supervise installation of wall/ceiling panels, doors, viewing panels, LAF/HEPA plenum and allied components strictly per the approved drawing.

• Manage site labour/installation team and any locally contracted riggers or electricians.

• Ensure panel alignment, sealing and finish meet the company's quality standard.

• Maintain a daily site progress log and report status to the Service Head.

Quality & Safety at Site

• Ensure PPE use and safe work practices are followed by all personnel on site at all times.

• Identify and resolve in office design-to-site mismatches in coordination with the Designer.

• Flag any damaged or missing material immediately and coordinate replacement.





Customer Coordination & Handover

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the customer's project/hospital engineering team during installation.

• Coordinate with the Service Engineer for electrical/HVAC commissioning following physical installation.

• Obtain customer sign-off on completed installation and support documentation for final handover.

Site Closure

• Ensure all company tools, leftover material and waste are cleared from site on completion.

• Submit a complete site installation report with photographs to the Service Head.

• Zero rework caused by installation deviating from the approved drawing.

• 100% customer sign-off achieved without major punch-list items.

• Complete installation within the agreed project timeline.

• Zero safety incidents on site.

• 100% PPE compliance by the installation team.

4. Customer Coordination

• Resolve site-level customer queries/issues within the same day wherever possible.

5. Documentation

• Submit a complete site report,



photographs and sign-off documentation for every project.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering. B.E./B.Tech is an advantage.

Experience

• 2–4 years in site installation/execution of modular, prefab, or interior fit-out projects, including at least 2 years leading a site team.

• Experience with hospital/healthcare site installation is strongly preferred.

• Exposure to modular OT or cleanroom panel installation is a strong plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to read installation/GA drawings and panel-numbering sequence plans.

• Basic civil and electrical coordination knowledge for site readiness checks.

• Team supervision at site, including local vendor/labour coordination.

• Working knowledge of safe installation practices for panels, glazing and overhead plenum work.

Behavioral Attributes

• Willingness to travel extensively and stay at project sites for the duration of installation.

• Strong problem-solving ability under site constraints (space, access, civil mismatches).

• Confident, professional customer-facing communication with hospital engineering/project teams.
