About the Role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to support the planning, estimation, execution and documentation of infrastructure projects for government clients. You will work with departments such as PWD (B&R;) Haryana, GMDA, Municipal Corporations, and HSIIDC, coordinating between our team, site staff and department officials.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation and tender support

- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs and cost estimates using the Haryana PWD Schedule of Rates (SOR) and other applicable SORs
- Assist in preparing and submitting bids on government e-procurement portals
- Prepare rate analysis and support DPR and technical proposal preparation

Site execution and supervision

- Supervise day-to-day work at site, including roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage, buildings and related infrastructure
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, MoRTH / IS / CPWD standards and quality requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, surveyors and labour to keep to the project schedule
- Conduct site inspections and report progress and issues

Billing and documentation

- Maintain measurement books, running account (RA) bills and final bills
- Prepare progress reports, site records and quality test records
- Handle project files and compliance documents as required by the department

Liaison and coordination

- Coordinate with department officials (SDOs, XENs, consultants, third-party quality auditors) for inspections, approvals, measurements and payments




- Support handling of departmental queries, certifications and completion documentation
- Required QualificationsB.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (Diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered)
- 0-3 years of experience; freshers with relevant internships or project exposure are welcome
- Exposure to working with or for Haryana government departments (PWD Haryana, GMDA, Municipal Corporations, HSIIDC). Experience with other state government departments (e.g., Delhi, UP, Punjab, Rajasthan PWD / development authorities) will also be considered.
- Technical SkillsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD (required) and MS Excel
- Understanding of estimation, BOQ preparation, SOR / DSR usage and measurement practices
- Familiarity with government contract procedures and billing processes
- Basic knowledge of quality control testing and site safety practices
- Preferred: MS Project / Primavera, Civil 3D, Total Station / survey basics, e-tendering portal experience
- Soft SkillsStrong written and verbal communication in Hindi and English
- Ability to deal professionally with government officials and contractors
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
