- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of automotive components as per drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of parts.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Gauges, etc.
- Identify and report defects, deviations and non-conformities.
- Verify components as per engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain inspection reports, check sheets and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for resolution of quality issues.
- Support sorting, rework and rejection activities whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, SOPs and safety procedures.
- Report quality-related issues to the Supervisor / Quality Engineer.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile or related engineering field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Inspection / Manufacturing / Automotive industry.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
