Production Supervisor / Mechanical Engineer

- Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day production, fabrication, fitting, machining, and assembly activities.
- Assign work to technicians, fabricators, welders, and fitters.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings for accurate manufacturing and assembly.
- Monitor production schedules, quality standards, and timely completion of jobs.
- Inspect dimensions, alignment, welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and production-related issues.
- Supervise machine assembly, testing, and final inspection.
- Maintain production records and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Ensure proper utilization of tools, materials, machinery, and manpower.
- Maintain workshop discipline, safety standards, and housekeeping.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, and other departments.




- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and minimize rework.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in production, fabrication, or mechanical manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of fabrication, machining, fitting, and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with workshop tools and measuring instruments.
- Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical, responsible, and target-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage workshop activities and production teams effectively.

Preferred CandidateA hands-on Mechanical Engineer who can independently manage workshop production activities, coordinate the production team, maintain quality, and ensure timely completion of manufacturing jobs.
