Assistant Chef – Gelato ProductionWe are looking for a hands-on Assistant Chef with a pastry/bakery background who is keen to learn premium gelato production. The role combines gelato production with day-to-day production facility, inventory, supplies, and store support.

- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily gelato, ice cream, gelato cakes, and frozen dessert production.
- Handle recipe scaling, mixing, pasteurization, ageing, churning, packaging, and labelling.
- Maintain production facility cleanliness, hygiene, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage ingredient and packaging inventory and follow FIFO.
- Personally handle local purchases of ingredients, packaging, cleaning materials, and other production requirements.
- Prepare and manage store supplies and ensure timely dispatch.




- Coordinate and personally assist with gelato movement and replenishment from the production facility to stores.
- Support recent flavour development and seasonal product trials.
- Report stock shortages, wastage, or operational issues to the supervisor.
- What We're Looking ForPastry/Bakery/Culinary background preferred.
- Experience in bakery, pastry, gelato, or food production is an advantage.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence required.
- Hands-on, organized, responsible, and comfortable with physical movement of supplies and products.
- Good understanding of hygiene, food handling, and kitchen practices.
