- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings and technical drawings.
- Prepare and execute cutting jobs as per the given drawings and specifications.
- Perform nesting of drawings to optimize material usage and minimize wastage.
- Set machine parameters and ensure accurate cutting as per requirements.
- Check dimensions and quality of finished components.
- Manage assigned jobs effectively and complete work within the required time.
- Maintain proper records of completed jobs and material usage.
- Follow all safety procedures while operating the machine.
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance checks.
- Required Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience operating a laser cutting machine is required.
- Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD drawing reading and understanding.
- Experience in nesting of drawings and material optimization.
- Good time management and job planning skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and measurements.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple jobs.
- Knowledge of basic machine troubleshooting will be an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Experience1–3 years of relevant experience in laser cutting machine operation is preferred.
