The Counter Sales Executive is the first point of contact for walk-in customers at the Micon Wires outlet. The role involves understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable wire and cable products, processing sales, and ensuring a smooth buying experience.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, including electricians, contractors, and retail buyers
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products (wire gauge, type, length, application)
- Provide accurate information on product specifications, pricing, and availability
- Prepare quotations, generate bills/invoices, and process payments accurately
- Maintain stock records and inform the manager of low inventory
- Keep the counter and display area clean, organized, and well stocked
- Handle customer queries and complaints politely, escalating when needed
- Follow up on repeat customers and build lasting relationships
