Role Description The Usability Consultant role at Taxcart is a full time, remote position focused on improving the overall user experience of Taxcart’s products and interfaces. In this role, the consultant will plan and conduct usability studies, analyze user behavior, and translate findings into actionable design recommendations. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine workflows,
reduce friction in key user journeys, and ensure clear, intuitive interactions. The consultant will also create usability reports, develop user personas, and contribute to guidelines that promote consistent and accessible design across the platform. This role requires proactive communication, structured documentation, and ongoing engagement with stakeholders to align usability improvements with business goals.
Qualifications
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret qualitative and quantitative user data and identify usability patterns and opportunities.
• Expertise in Human Computer Interaction to evaluate interface design, interaction flows, and accessibility across web applications.
• Background in Human Factors to understand cognitive, behavioral, and ergonomic considerations in complex transactional systems.
