Role Description
The Hotel Receptionist is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with primary onsite responsibilities at the hotel and some tasks that can be completed from home. In this role, the Hotel Receptionist greets guests, manages check-in and check-out processes, and responds to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and through digital channels. Daily responsibilities include handling reservations, processing payments, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, maintaining accurate records,



and providing information about hotel services and local attractions. The role also involves managing phone calls with professional etiquette, resolving guest concerns promptly, and ensuring the front desk area remains organized and presentable. The Hotel Receptionist collaborates with the wider team to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Experience with receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out, front desk operations, and guest service.
• Knowledge of reservations processes, including booking, modifying, and canceling stays using hotel systems.
• Effective phone etiquette and clear communication skills in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management or reservation sof
