Skills and experience required:
•Maintenance of KPMG UK skills taxonomy for the ProFinda platform by working in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure skills are identified, validated, and meet required skill terminology and skill criteria (e.g. skills in demand or emerging skills).••Manage change requests for skills, skills frameworks, and certifications—including evaluating, documenting, recommending, and deploying decisions.
•Maintain known supply labels based on requests and relevancy using defined methodologies and logs.
ProFinda Profile Adoption
•Engage with key stakeholders across KPMG UK to assess the capability requirements of ProFinda profile adoption.••Consult key stakeholders on approaches to ProFinda profile adoption and provide tailored solutions which are fit for purpose to optimise the capability specific benefits of ProFinda profile adoption.••Work in partnership with key stakeholders across KPMG UK to plan and drive profile adoption and gain buy-in of the firm’s user support strategy and frameworks.••Work in partnership with the MI team to shape ProFinda reporting to inform key stakeholders of adoption rates and profile quality etc.
Policy and Process Development
•Development and creation of ProFinda skills profile policies, procedures, guidance and governance processes (i.e. best practice guides and FAQ’s) in partnership with key stakeholders••Work in partnership with key stakeholders to implement and embed ProFinda Skills Profile policies, procedures, guidance and governance processes.••Gain insight into global best practices on skills and the ProFinda Skills Profile through engagement with global partners (i.e. US),
adopting or incorporating global best practices in approaches, policies, procedures and guidance where necessary or business fit.••Work in partnership with People COE’s to include ProFinda adoption within key people processes i.e., performance and talent management.•
Strategic People and Talent Management
•Work in partnership with global teams (i.e., the US) and people functions to support the development of an integrated approach to skills, talent management, learning and workforce planning.
•Support firm wide and global people initiatives or projects (where necessary) to embed the use of the ProFinda profile for example the Global Career Architecture.••Use available ProFinda MI to provide rich data to support the future strategic direction of workforce planning, talent and performance management processes.
Responsibilities
The ProFinda Profile and its skills section is a critical component of the Empowered solution which will enable allocating client facing colleagues to client facing engagements and/or internal projects based on their recorded skills and experience as opposed to allocation decisions made based on individuals' opinions and/or in a silo way. This recent approach will play a key part to support the firm’s direction regarding unbiased allocation to work.
In addition to enabling skills-based allocation to work , having a single repository of people’s profiles and skills is giving us a firm wide view of the skills and knowledge of our people, provide insight to inform future direction of both operational workforce planning and strategic workforce planning and support professional/personal development conversations.
The role holder will drive the Profinda Profile and Skills agenda working in partnership with the firm capabilities , the relevant People function stakeholders to develop, maintain and/or implement agreed skills taxonomies, skills strategy, methodologies, plans, guidance, policy and procedures to drive profiles adoption, maintenance and quality;
In addition to driving continuous improvement through the adoption of new relevant functionalities delivered through the Profinda quarterly release cycle , the role holder will oversee the COE team (one member to start with) responsible for providing subject matter expertise and functional user support (level 3 expert support) for the ProFinda (Profile & Skills ) platform, ensuring effective query resolution (level 3 support) in line with agreed SLAs.
