Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Ophthalmologist with specialization in Medical Retina, based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The specialist will conduct outpatient consultations, perform detailed ophthalmic examinations, manage retinal disorders, and provide comprehensive medical care for a wide range of eye conditions. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating retinal diseases, advising on and performing appropriate laser procedures,



interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests, and collaborating with other ophthalmologists and optometrists to ensure coordinated patient care. The role involves participating in surgical lists as indicated, maintaining accurate medical records, contributing to clinical protocols, and supporting patient education and counseling. The specialist is expected to uphold high standards of clinical ethics, patient safety, and evidence-based practice within a busy tertiary care environment.
Qualifications

• Robust foundation in Medicine, with completion of MBBS and postgraduate training (MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology) or equivalent.
