Pune International Centre is looking for project-based Research Interns to work on public finance and fiscal policy research. Six months from 15 October 2026, based in Pune, with a monthly stipend.
Suited to final-year students and those in a gap year before a master's or the civil services, who can commit to the full project duration. Backgrounds in economics, public policy, public finance, commerce, statistics or law. Excel essential; STATA/R/Python an advantage.
Pune International Centre (PIC) is an independent, non-partisan think tank and public-policy institution based in Pune. Established in 2011, PIC brings together researchers, academics, policymakers, practitioners and experts to engage with key questions shaping India’s future.
