Northstar Robotics builds the reliability layer for physical AI. Our robots run learned AI policies, and when a policy gets stuck or is about to fail, a human operator steps in, takes over in real time, and hands control back to the AI. Every save you make becomes training data, so the robots get better because of you.
You’d be one of the first operators on our team, working at the point where AI meets the real world.
What you’ll do
• Control robotic arms remotely through a VR headset and hand controllers
• Step in when the robot’s AI hesitates or fails, recover the task, and hand control back
• Run demonstrations of real-world tasks that we use to train new robot skills
• Give feedback to our engineers on how the robots and the control setup feel to use
Who we’re looking for
• You’re comfortable in VR, or you pick up new controls quick. Gamers, drone pilots, and anyone with good hand-eye coordination will do well here.
• You stay calm and precise when something goes wrong in real time
• You have a stable, fast internet connection
• You’re curious about robotics and AI. No engineering degree needed; we train you.
