Cerner Clinical frontend Consultant

Tech Stack: Cerner Millennium, CCL, Discern Visual Developer, Clinical Documentation, Case Management, Smart Templates, MPage.

Role: Support and enhance Cerner Case Management workflows, documentation, and clinical application functionality. The role will focus on simplifying discharge workflows, improving CM worklists/UI, and enhancing data visibility and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Improve Discharge Planning/Discharge Assessment workflows, including discharge location, destination, address, and Home Health Start of Care.
Configure/review CM document types, worklists, statuses, columns, and filtering.




Enhance Avoidable Delay categories, attribution, and observation-day tracking.
Improve visibility of Readmission Risk Scores across CM and therapy teams.
Review Transitional Care documentation and Clinical Documentation categories.
Enhance Denials data entry and communication workflows between CM, DP, Physician Advisors, and PFS.
Explore Smart Template auto-population using existing Cerner data/tokens.
Work with stakeholders to identify gaps, clarify requirements, and support application improvements.

Required: Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium, CCL queries, and Discern Visual Developer Application, with solid understanding of Cerner clinical workflows and documentation.
